You have to admire someone who takes an age-old invention eg an umbrella, and creates an entirely new operating principle. Welcome to the Air Umbrella. A jet of air rises up from the handle, and creates shelter from the rain. Admittedly, we need to ask, is a noisy and complicated umbrella an ‘improvement’?
